Identification

Interviews/Group Work sessions – The team identifies risks by conducting periodic risk assessments through multiple interviews and Focus Group sessions with various TCNJ stakeholders including trustees, executive leadership, departmental management, and select faculty and staff representatives. Through these interviews and Focus Group sessions we seek to gather, synthesize, and analyze the perceived risks facing the College that could challenge the achievement of its basic mission and related goals throughout the institution.

Document review/background analysis – Our team reviews documents provided by stakeholders to gain a greater understanding of the previous risk management mitigation activities to help shape the prioritization of the risks identified during the assessment .

Risk Profile
– The reassessment process results in a Risk Profile document that identifies key risks, provides prioritization of the identified risks, and defines risk ownership (Risk Executive Sponsor).
